A Repository of Information about Elder and In-home Care.

Life spans are longer today than ever before. The concern for the loved ones of the elderly is whether people are living better than ever before, or even as well. And, for those sons, daughters and grandchildren, deciding what to do about that concern, while combined with job issues, parental responsibilities, finances and all of the other stresses that we deal with, caring for a parent or loved one can be overwhelming.

In the past, when an elderly person cannot live independently, they were sent to a dedicated health facility like a nursing home or even a hospital. We have come to understand that was not the best solution in many cases.

Today, more and more people opt for care in their own homes. The fact is that the mental outlook of a person is far better when left at home rather than moved to a dedicated health facility. Also, the costs are less - and, in this age of skyrocketing real estate values, you keep your asset permanently or at least as long as possible. If and when a case evolves to the point where our in-home care no longer suffices, it is our pledge to inform you of that and suggest alternatives. We partner with you to make certain you get the care services needed, while preserving your assets. more...
